He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Bernice; his children, Robin Jones (Schley), Cathy Gill (Jim) and Bobby Medlin (Tammy); his sister Mary Hoffmeyer; his stepdaughters, Candy Carter (Kevin) and Angel Thigpen; and his parents, Charles Raymond and Minnie Moffitt Medlin. He was also cherished by grandchildren and great grandchildren.
