He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Bennie Garner Atkinson and Jaronie "Jay" Woodberry Atkinson; his sisters, Dawn Atkinson of Marion, SC and Renee White of Wrens, GA.; his sons, Robert "Bert" Garner Atkinson, Jr. (Jessica Atkinson) and Derek Simon Atkinson (Taylor Rogers); his grandchildren, Robert "Garner" Atkinson III, Jack Parker Atkinson, Keva Grace Atkinson, Raylee Jay Atkinson and Bennie Lee Atkinson; his nephews, Blake White of Lawrenceville, GA, Jonathan Atkinson of Mullins, SC and Brian Atkinson (Jamie) of Hartsville, SC.; and his niece Megan Wilson (Ben). He was also cherished by his mother, sisters, sons, daughters-in-law, girlfriend and grandchildren.
