With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Richard Clayton Parker of Florence, South Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 23, 2025 at the age of 76. He was predeceased by: his parents, Marvalee Herring Parker and Lloyd Clayton Parker. He is survived by: his wife Carol Stephens Parker; his son Clay Parker; his brothers, Gene Parker and Don Parker (Tammy); and his siblings-in-law, Donna Stephens (Allie) and Robbie Stephens (Sharon). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Pisgah United Methodist Church (621 N Ebenezer Rd, Florence, SC 29501). A funeral service will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 at the Pisgah United Methodist Church Cemetery (621 N Ebenezer Rd, Florence, SC 29501).
