It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rhonda McDonald of Florence, South Carolina, born in Orangeburg, South Carolina, who passed away on February 1, 2024, at the age of 58, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her father Reverend Ronald "Franchie" DuBoise, Sr.. She is survived by: her mother Dee Anne Valentine DuBoise of Ruffin; her husband John William McDonald, Jr. of Florence; her son Joshua William McDonald (Bella) of Florence; her siblings, Wanda "Dee Dee" DuBoise of Walterboro, Paige DuBoise of Johns Island, Ron DuBoise (Brandy) of Ruffin and Hope DuBoise Marini (Mark) of Jacksonville, Florida; her sister-in-law Sharon Platt of Denmark; and her nieces and nephews, Carl Williams, Jr., Brittany Machajewski, Brandon DuBoise, Elaina Marini, Emma Marini, Aaron Marini, Amber McDonald Davis and Leslie Platt. She is also survived by great nieces and nephews, cousins.
