He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe Cable Miller and Hazel Powell Miller; his son Douglas "Doug" McRae Miller; and his daughter-in-law Lucretia Herring Miller. He is survived by: his wife Marjorie Carmichael Miller; his children, Sandra Newell (Mitch) of Charleston, Dr. Michael R. Miller (Melissa) of Florence and Joel Miller (Glenda) of Kingstree; his grandchildren, Krystal, Michael Douglas, Taylor, Reagan, Saviah, Ella, Baylor and Drayton; and his siblings, Bobby Joe Miller, Gayle Harrelson (Randy), Janice Rogers, Joan Mishue (Jimmy), Jessie Wayne Miller (Winna), Phillip "Phil" Miller and Patricia Barr (Jerry).
