He is survived by: his wife Vivian Hinson Vinson; his children, Ralph M. Vinson, Jr. (Lisa), Donnell Purvis (Thomas) and Rebecca McGee (Rick); his grandchildren, Zachary Vinson, Blake Vinson, Lesley Lindsey and Leanna Purvis; his great grandchildren, Amelia Vinson and Clara Lindsey; and his siblings, Carroll Vinson (Sandra), Stanley Vinson, Nell Davis and Jean Rush (Buster).
