He is survived by: his mother Alberta Vause Smith; his wife Ann Bell Smith; his children, Melanie Yengel (Doug) of Hartsville and Brian Smith (Katie) of Lexington, SC; his siblings, Barry Smith (Lynn) of Hickory, N. C. and Donna Sallenger (Joe) of Florence; and his grandchildren, Blanton, Gavin, Callen Yengel of Hartsville, Beckham and Olivia Smith of Lexington, SC..
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM at the Calvary Baptist Church (915 Cherokee Rd, Florence, SC 29501-4661). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the same location.
