He was predeceased by: his parents, Phillip Gray and Mary Gray (Bell); his siblings, Frank, William Gray (Bo) and Rosalee Plair (Sam); and his son Matthew Gray (Command Sergeant Major).
He is survived by: his sister Alberta Osgood (Willia Frances Gray); his nieces and nephews, Dr. Camille Gray and Michael Gray; his grandchildren, Patrick Gray, Ariel Gray, Matthew Gray, Jr., Olivia Gray, Jackson Gray, Liam Livingston, Lily Livingston and Lucy Livingston; his great grandchild Calliope Gray; and his close friend Maggie Mack. He is also survived by many other friends, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Fisher House Foundation.
