He was predeceased by: his parents, James Stephen Joseph, Sr. and Annie Louise Joseph; and his siblings, Mamie, John and Jimmy.
He is survived by: his pets, Pippin, Weezie, Tootie and Mindy; his wife Lela Willcox Joseph; his sister Gloria Joseph of Alcolu, SC; his niece Jill Ward (Brian) of Columbia; his nephew Michael Mockas (Sheila) of Laurinburg, NC; and his siblings-in-law, Lynn Boyd (Hootie) of Florence and Whit Willcox (Cindy) of Florence. He is also survived by nieces and nephews and faithful friends.
