He was predeceased by: his parents, Buddy Black and Laura Ann Black; his daughters, Mary Ann Black and Shirley Black; and his siblings, Rufus Black, Robert Lee Black, George Black, Barbara Jean Black and Mattie Mae Black.
He is survived by: his sons, Nathan Goodman (Sheila) of Pamplico, Johnny Goodman (Ruby) and Tony Black (Natasha) of Kingstree; and his brothers, Lawrence Black of Florence, Jimmy Lee Black of Florence and Ernest Black of Florence. He is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nephews, nieces, and cousins.
