We are sad to announce that on September 6, 2024, at the age of 94, Myrtle Elizabeth Summerford of Florence, South Carolina, born in Georgetown, South Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, James Heins Allen and Myrtle Haselden Allen; her husband Thomas "Tommy" A. Summerford; her daughter Teresa "Terri" Watts; and her brother James Allen.

She is survived by: her children, Tom Summerford (Martie) of Blythewood, SC and Sandee Rogers of Mullins, SC; her grandchildren, Amy, Kathryn, Reed, Ryan, Adam, Carson, Weston, Paul and Matthew; and her brother Walter Edwin Allen (Harriet) of Florence, SC.. She is also survived by eight great-grandchildren.
