Myrtis Cook Clark Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Myrtis Cook Clark (Florence, South Carolina), born in Hampton, South Carolina, who passed away on October 11, 2024, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Lloyd H. Cook and Vera Middleton Cook; and her husband John D. Clark Jr.. She is survived by: her sons, David Clark (Amy) of Florence and Phillip Clark (Natalie) of Wilmington; her grandchildren, Jonathan Clark (Natalia) of Columbia, Meridyth Moore (Brooke) of Florence and Myranda Clark of Florence; her great grandchildren, Emory, Ellis, Harleigh, Hayes, Kayleigh, Madison and Joshua; her sister Linda Ham of Effingham; and her nephews, Tim, George and Thomas. She is also survived by many cousins, friends.
Visitation was held on Sunday, October 13th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Family Residence (1348 Cottingham Rd, Florence, SC 29505). A funeral service was held on Monday, October 14th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the Grace Baptist Church (2400 3rd Loop Rd, Florence, SC 29501). A burial was held on Monday, October 14th 2024 at the Follow the Service Florence Memorial Gardens (3320 S Cashua Dr, Florence, SC 29501).
