He was predeceased by: his parents, McCray Poston and Gussie Turner Poston; his wife Mary Gregg Poston; and his siblings, James Poston, Hasford Poston, Phillip Poston, Ruth Gaskins, Vivian Hodges and Alberta Ridgell.
He is survived by: his children, Alan Poston (Carol) of Florence, Bobby Poston (Jennie) of Lumberton, NC and Maxine Hartley of Evergreen; and his grandchildren, Stephanie Poston Bragdon (Stephen), Randy Hartley, Jason Hartley (Brandi), Kayla Halchak and Cassie Osteen.
