It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Stroud (Florence, South Carolina), born in Hickory, North Carolina, who passed away on May 16, 2019, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Samuel Lloyd Young and Blanche Wall Young; her husband Kelly Ray Stroud, Sr.; her siblings, Virginia Young Greene, Harold Young, Douglas Young and Cecil Young; her grandson David Carter; and her stepgreat-grandson Casey Blackwelder.
She is survived by: her children, Kelly Ray Stroud, Jr. (Sherree) of Lincolnton, NC, Ronald Stephen Stroud of Florence, Douglas Wayne Stroud (Susan) of Carlstadt, NJ and Libby Stroud Carter (Tim) of Effingham. She is also survived by seven granddaughters; two step grandchildren; fifteen great grandchildren; four step great grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.
