She was predeceased by: her parents, Odell Bailey Hinds and Charles Hinds; her husbands, Thomas L. Oliver and Norman Derringer; and her siblings, Grady Hinds, Aubrey Hinds and Carolyn Hayes.
She is survived by: her children, Charles T. Oliver of Durham, NC and Robin O. Hewitt of Florence; her grandson Sterling A. Hewitt (Mary-Steven); her great grandchild Cole; and her brother William "Bubba" Hinds of Florence.
