With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mary Alice Ingram Busch of Florence, South Carolina, born in Darlington, South Carolina, who passed away on December 21, 2022 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Mary Alice Caudle Ingram and Charles Nelms Ingram of Anson County; her daughter Susan Ingram Chase; her husbands, Lewis Vickers, Jr. and John Paul Busch, Jr. of Florence; and her friend Betty Jean (John Kenneth Charles).
She is survived by: her former spouses, Elizabeth "Diddy" Chase Anderson (James "Jim) of Florence and Lloyd Anderson of Florence; her daughter Alice "Tudda" Chase Carpenter of Georgetown; her grandchildren, Charlotte Ingram Anderson, John Charles Anderson, Robert Meadows Carpenter, Jr. (Ann), Susan Ingram Carpenter (Kyle Yelencsics), John Alexander Chase Carpenter (Lucy Caplan) and William Chandler Carpenter (Sarah Bailey Wilson); and her stepchildren, John Paul Bush, James Gibson Busch, David Allen Busch and Laura Busch Piercy. She is also survived by three daughters and their friends.
