She was predeceased by: her parents, Joe Sims and Susie Springs Sims; her husband Walter "Leo" Ruff, Jr.; and her brother Marion Sims. She is survived by: her sons, R. Sidney Ruff of Florence and Walter L. Ruff III (Tiara) of Tennessee; her grandson Walter Leo Ruff IV of Tennessee; her siblings, J. E. Sims (Frances) of Florence, Merlee Shumpert (Charles) of Florence and Molly Pittman (Wendall); her sister-in-law Sally Sims of Raleigh, NC.; and also, Wallace and Mary Caroline Vaught.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to First Baptist Church, 300 S. Irby Street, Florence, SC 29501.
