With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Marian Jane Pohlman of Florence, South Carolina, born in Chicago, Illinois, who passed away on February 1, 2024 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Hulda Christman and Edward Christman; her husband Marvin A. Pohlman; her children, Susan Pohlman and Mark Pohlman; and her brothers, Vernon and Ed Christman.
She is survived by: her children, James Pohlman (Polly), Kathy Lofton and Karen Lind (Mike); and her grandchildren, Kelly Borger (Bryan), Stephanie Gates (Nick), Melissa Herron (Justin), Joseph Lind and Alex Lind. She is also survived by five great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The Lutheran Church of the Incarnate Word.
