Margaret G. Sprenger Obituary

We are sad to announce that on February 6, 2023, at the age of 86, Margaret G. Sprenger of Florence, South Carolina, born in Corner Brook, Newfoundland passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Jean McLeod Fraser Goobie and John Charles Goobie; her husband Robert Burtnett Sprenger; her stepson Gregory Sprenger; and her friend Ed Garand.

She is survived by: her children, Robert J. Geiger (Kaye) of Florence, SC, William F. Geiger (Antonia) of Rome, Italy, James D. Geiger (Kim) of Lamar, SC and Catherine G. Nelson (Hal) of Horseheads, NY; her stepchildren, Arthur L. Sprenger (Barbara) of Florence, SC, Edward Sprenger (Melanie) of Florence, SC, Timothy R. Sprenger (Suzanne) of Timmonsville, SC, Barbara A. Morrow (Rick) of Lancaster, PA, Juliann S. Hunter (Luther) of Davenport, FL and Ruthann Hamilton (Ross) of Ft. Mitchell, KY; and her stepdaughter-in-law Sue Sprenger of Dixon, IL. She is also survived by 21 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and 6 great-great grandchildren.
