It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Margaret Dukes Moore Shirlaw of Florence, South Carolina, who passed away on January 5, 2025, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Doris Dukes and Ila McCants Dukes; her former husband Harry M. Moore; and also, Ronald Shirlaw, Steven M. Moore, Lynne Bryan, Heyward Dukes, Wil Easler, Ann Kirby and Doretha Philips.
She is survived by: her grandchildren, Michael Barnes (Becky), Shannon Brothers (Daniel) and Christopher Moore (Amanda); and her brother Bobby Dukes (Toby). She is also survived by eight great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 3:30 PM at the Highland Park United Methodist Church (1300 2nd Loop Rd, Florence, SC 29505). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 at 3:30 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Highland Park UMC, 1300 2nd Loop Road, Florence, SC 29505.
