She was predeceased by: her parents, Solomon Joseph Hewitt and Zelia Benton Hewitt; her former husband Carl Weston Cox Sr.; and her husband Jackson Cole. She is survived by: her children, Deborah Cox Knight (Robbie) and Carl Weston Cox Jr.; her granddaughter Natalie Knight Hardy (Robert); and her great grandchildren, Landon Hardy and Sullivan Hardy. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
