He was predeceased by: his parents, Ruben Leigh and Alberta Wilson Leigh; his wife Vonnie Driggers Leigh; his siblings, Delbert Leigh and Barbara McDaniel; and his stepdaughter Ann Driggers.
He is survived by: his daughters, Marlene Preston (Fred) and Darlene Wilson; his stepson Terry Driggers (Kathy); his grandchildren, Andrew Wilson, Carol Ann Freidet (Sam), Curtis Michael Preston and Brandon Sellers (Jennifer); his stepgrandsons, Ricky Driggers (Allison) and Eric Driggers (Kellie); his great grandchildren, Marlee, Elias Preston, Ariana, Rylan Wilson, Lily Evans-Wilson, Skylar and John Sellers; his stepgreat-grandchildren, Mitchel, Chase, Colby, Kelton, Kelsie, Lily, Addy Driggers, Brooke, Gannon, Salem Ard, Lynn, Taylor Pruitt, Waylon Oxendine and Skye Jacobs; and his sister Veda Pearl Schivera. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
