She was predeceased by: her parents, John Amos Lyles and Lina Bell Pratt Lyles; her husband Wesley Merrill Gardner; and her siblings, Bill, Jennings Lyles, Ruby King, Kate Teal and Mary Lee Byrd.
She is survived by: her children, Dennis (Diane), Darryl Gardner (Nancy), Donna Benenhaley (Carey) and Deneen Wooten (Mitch); and her grandchildren, Michela DuBose, Christopher, Jonathon, Phillip Gardner, Kara Benenhaley, Teagan Wooten and Carson Wootton.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 12th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home (2402 S Irby St, Florence, SC 29505). A funeral service was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Peace Free Will Baptist Church (897 3rd Loop Rd, Florence, SC 29505). A burial was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 at the Follow the Service Florence Memorial Gardens (3320 S Cashua Dr, Florence, SC 29501).
