He was predeceased by : his parents Lillian Smith Hoppel and Chester Hoppel. He is survived by his wife Norma Hoppel of Florence; his son Craig A. Hoppel (Georgia) of Florence, SC; and his grandchildren, Ashley Valone of Hartsville, SC and Jonathan Hoppel.
