It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Leon Buskey (Florence, South Carolina), who passed away on September 16, 2020, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Buskey and Annie Mae Buskey; and his siblings, Eddie, Johnnie Mae, Walter, Elizabeth, Frank, Hillis Buskey, Candice Higgett and Helen Jefferson.
He is survived by: his wife Rose Gorham; his daughters, Theresa Perkins-Carroll (Stanley) and Lisa Buskey; his grandchildren, Paul Baker, Maya, Malcolm and Morgan Perkins; his great grandchild Brooke Baker; his sisters, Rosa Lee Sandle and Catherine Richardson (James); and his siblings-in-law, David (Camille), Bobby Gorham (Diane), Laurena Buskey and Jannie Buskey. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends.
