She was predeceased by: her parents, Lela Beamon Carter and Leonard L. Carter; her husband Daniel G. Bass; her son Donald R. Bass; and her siblings, Hubert Carter, Henderson Carter, Douglas Carter, Sudie Bell Mitchell, Elouise Carter, Pauline Hare and Mabel Morgan.
She is survived by: her children, Jimmy Bass (Diane) of Florence, SC, Janet C. Bass Griffin of Florence, SC, Sue Miles (Danny) of Raleigh, NC, Millie Lavin (John) of Myrtle Beach, SC and Debbie King of Kingstree, SC; and her grandchildren, Tonya Rayne (Dean) of Meridianville, AL, Angel Olmstead (Tracy) of Kennesaw, GA, Danielle Tyner (Bradley) of Florence, SC, Kaylee Welch (Hunter) of Florence, SC, Kensley Woodham (Gillum) of Florence, SC and Brayden Maksin of Florence, SC. She is also survived by six other grandchildren; multiple great-grandchildren.
