She was predeceased by: her husbands, F. Howard DeBerry and Edward Baskin; her son Frederick Howard DeBerry Jr.; her stepdaughter Maryanne Towers; her parents, Jamie Tarlton Lazar and Mary Alice Jordan; and her siblings, Mary Alice Thompson, Dorothy Tribble, Ethel Cherniss and Dr. James Lazar.
She is survived by: her brother Rev. Julian Lazar (Shirley); her daughters, Kathleen Brungard (Don), Dr. Jacquelyn Odell (John) and Maria Clayton (Warren); her stepson Edward Baskin, Jr. (Susan); her grandchildren, Rebecca Hobbs (Stephen), Linda Towers, Catherine Odell, Rev. Boone Clayton (Julia), Jack Odell and Adair Clayton; and her great grandchildren, Elias and Hazel Clayton.
