She was predeceased by: her parents, John David and Betty Johnson Lane; and her husband Samuel Carlisle "Sam" Edwards, Jr.. She is survived by: her children, Jo Ellen Engle (Robert) of Ellicott City, MD and Samuel Carlisle "Carl" Edwards, III (Tiffany) of Florence, SC; her siblings, Jean Irick of Florence, Randy Lane (Juanita) of Dallas, GA and Doris Brunett of St. Gabriel, LA; her sister-in-law Velma Lane Tennyson of Florence; her grandchildren, Liz Engle of Maryland, Mike Engle of Maryland, Cole Edwards of Florence and Mason Edwards (Madison) of Boston, MA; and her great grandchild Ozzy Edwards of Boston. She is also survived by 29 nieces and nephews.
