He was predeceased by: his parents, J. D. Lee and Virginia Murrell Lee. He is survived by: his daughters, Heather Matthews (Timmy), Cynthia Leach (Billy) and Tabetha Cerceo (Jay); his sister Dianne Baxley (Buck); his grandchildren, John Matthews, Ashlee Matthews, Bryce Leach, David Leach, McKinlee Leach, James Cerceo and Genevieve Cerceo; his niece Tammy Massie (Steve); and his great-nieces, Kayla Massie and Kimberlin Massie.

Memorials may be made to Bethel Baptist Church, Olanta, SC.
