He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Elizabeth Clark Taylor and John Belton Taylor, Sr.; his wife June Johnston Taylor; his sister Doris Taylor Moore; and his son-in-law Randy Hyler.
He is survived by: his children, Debbie Taylor Weaver (Maurice), Sherrie Hyler, Michelle Lucas (Larry), Mary Ann Smith (Kevin), James Taylor (Jamie), Bruce Taylor (Teresa) and Jay Taylor (April); and his sister Shirley Taylor Joyner. He is also survived by thirteen grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.
