He was predeceased by: his parents, John Quinton McQuilton and Elizabeth Norene Smith McQuilton; his sister Patricia McQuilton; and his brother-in-law Gary Roman. He is survived by: his wife Patricia Frances Roman McQuilton; his children, John Michael McQuilton, Jr., Matthew Patrick McQuilton and Maureen Elizabeth Daley (Jason); his grandchildren, Olivia McQuilton, Lila McQuilton, Jason Daley, Leonard Daley, Colden McQuilton and Mark McQuilton; his siblings, William McQuilton, Rose M. Griffin, Anne Casto (Howard) and Bonnie Rogers; and his siblings-in-law, John Roman (Elizabeth), Lawrence A. Roman Jr. (Ilyse), Jean Winum (Laurence) and Virginia Holzapfel (Merv). He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews.
A funeral service was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Catholic Church of the Resurrection (204 Heritage Rd, Loris, SC 29569). A graveside service was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Florence National Cemetery (850 Stockade Dr, Florence, SC 29506).
