It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joanna Harrell Weldon of Florence, South Carolina, who passed away on April 25, 2023, at the age of 58, leaving to mourn family and friends. She is survived by: her parents, John S. Harrell and Beverly Cheek Harrell; her husband Vernon Powers of Florence; her sons, Dean Weldon of Orlando, FL and Benjamin Weldon of Florence; her stepdaughter Megan Bartlett (James); her stepgrandson Oliver of Florence; her stepdaughter Emily Edmondson (Austin) of Bremerton, WA; and her siblings, David Harrell (Carolyn) of Savannah, GA and Paige H. Carroll (Bryan) of Charlotte, NC. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
