She was predeceased by: her parents, John Rath Hoffman and Sarah Jane Conroy Hoffman; her sister Sara H. Wolfe; and her aunt Mary Gilmore of Virginia. She is survived by: her husband Frank K. Ellington, III; her sons, Frank K. Ellington, IV (Christine) and John Carter Ellington, Sr. (Tiffany); her grandchildren, Mary Chellis Ellington, Campbell M. Ellington, Kinsley G. Ellington and J. Carter Ellington, Jr.; and her brothers, John R. Hoffman of Greenville, SC, Michael R. Hoffman of Greenville, SC and Jeffery J. Hoffman of Bern, Switzerland..
