It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jessie Ruth King (Florence, South Carolina), who passed away on May 12, 2018, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Jack King, Jr.; her daughter Tion Gore; her granddaughter LaShawn Singletary; and her siblings, Ruby Brailsford, David Singletary and Bobby Singletary.
She is survived by: her parents, Otis Brown and Susan Singletary; her children, Phelecia Singletary, Jacquelyn Robinson and Antonio King; her siblings-in-law, Melody Davis, Annie Cooper, Ella Galloway of Florence, SC, Annie Howard (Sammie Lee) of Winston-Salem, NC, Woodrow Davis (Gail) and Bishop Wiillie Davis; and also Clara Mae Burgess of Lake City, SC. She is also survived by aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
