He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesse Calvin Porter, Sr. and Catherine Munn Porter. He is survived by: his wife Jeannie Barrineau Porter; his daughters, Andrea Jean Porter and Jennifer Lee Porter (Gene Boris, Jr.); his grandchildren, Andrew Buss, Jesse "Chandler" Porter, Sophia-Catherine Porter, Autry Boris and Joseph Boris; his great grandchild Paisley Mae Buss; his brother John H. Porter; and his niece Christy Porter. He is also survived by niece and nephew; and many lifelong friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 12th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home (2402 S Irby St, Florence, SC 29505). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, November 12th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home Chapel (2402 S Irby St, Florence, SC 29505). A burial was held on Tuesday, November 12th 2024 at the Follow the Service McLaughlin Cemetery.
