She was predeceased by: her parents, Durward Workman and Elaine Lawhon Workman; her husband Preston L. Gee; and her grandson Kelly R. Gee. She is survived by: her children, Preston L. Gee, Jr. (Vicky), Charles W. Gee, Timothy M. Gee, Jane C. Gee and Eve G. Hicks; her sister Linda Locklair; and her grandchildren, Beth McKnight, Preston L. Gee, IV, Doug Brown, Ashley Keck, John Gee, Timothy Gee, Sarah Hannah Williams and Ellie Gee. She is also survived by her ten great -grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 16th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Layton-Anderson Funeral Home (4210 W Palmetto St, Florence, SC 29501). A funeral service was held on Monday, December 16th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, December 16th 2024 at the Peniel Bapist Church (4186 Twin Church Rd, Timmonsville, SC 29161).
