He is survived by: his wife Cynthia Miller of Hannah-Pamplico; his daughter Virginia Fender of Hannah-Pamplico; his grandchildren, Danay Butler, Douglas Deshields, Zion and Amiri Gibbs; his sisters, Barbara Tippett of Florence and Margaret Guyton (Bill) of Brandywine, MD; and his nieces and nephews, Tal Tippett (Nancy) of Willowsprings, NC, Stephen Tippett (Shannon) of Johnsonville, Skippy Boland (Teresa) of Brandywine, MD, Sandy Underwood (Barry) of Indianhead, MD, Sherrie Jenkins (Allen) of Mechanicsville, MD and Kathy Miller of Waldorf, MD.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, January 27th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Florence National Cemetery (803 E National Cemetery Rd, Florence, SC 29501).
