With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jack Junior Snipes of Florence, South Carolina, born in Lancaster, South Carolina, who passed away on October 7, 2024 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Jannie Adams Snipes and George Odell Snipes; his wife Gertie Mattingly Snipes; his sons, Glen Steven Snipes and Robert William Snipes (Cheryl); and his brother George Carson Snipes (Mary).
He is survived by: his sons, Dana George Snipes, Gary Alfred Snipes (Martha), Randy and Larry; and his sister Betty Snipes Dusenbury (Walter).
A graveside service was held on Friday, October 18th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Florence National Cemetery (803 E National Cemetery Rd, Florence, SC 29506).
