He is survived by: his mother Catherine Smith Duke; his wife Deborah West Duke; his children, Herbert Arnold Duke Jr. (Amy) and Debra Duke Cook (Michael); his grandchildren, Madeline Duke, Jack Thomas Duke, Michael Cook and Nicole Cook; and his siblings, Thomas Harold Duke and Brenda Joyce Darnell.
