He was predeceased by: his parents, Jessie Lee and Ruby Lee Hill Allen; his grandson Dalton Scott Allen; his sister Emily Jean Floyd; and his stepson-in-law Timothy Guy Barnes.
He is survived by: his wife Betty Knight Hill; his son Donald Scott Allen; his stepdaughter Stephanie C. Barnes (Timothy); his granddaughters, Ashley Noel Jakiela (Benjamin) and Monica Leigh Hartsell (Adam); his great grandchildren, Greyson, Langston and Huxley Jakiela; his brother Jessie Lee Allen Jr. (Gladys); and his nephew Gary D. Allen.
