He is survived by: his wife Carol W. Honney; his children, Amy Daniel (Jimmy) of Moncks Corner, SC, Robert Honney (Lisa) of Moncks Corner and James "Dan" Honney (Heather) of Florence; his grandchildren, Melinda Hyatt (Steven) of Florence, Lauren Garand (Dustin) of Florence, Jacelyn Honney of Florence, Jenna Daniel of Florence, Jessica Turner (Scott) of Reno, NV, Riley Daniel of Moncks Corner and Wyman Daniel of Moncks Corner; his great grandchildren, Rebecca of Florence, Catheryn Hyatt of Florence, Dalton of Florence and Grayson Garand of Florence; and his sister-in-law Melba Honney.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 29th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Waters-Powell Funeral Home (400 S Dargan St, Florence, SC 29506). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 at the Mount Hope Cemetery (100 Cherokee Rd, Florence, SC 29501).
Memorials may be made to Shriners' Hospitals for Children or to the Wounded Warrior Project.
