In the sacred silence of farewell, Harriet is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Harriet's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Claude McMillan and Lucile Warr McMillan; and her husband Jesse Hill. She is survived by: her daughter Laura Hill Johnson (Kyle Johnson); her grandchildren, Claudia Johnson and Eric Johnson; her daughter Susan Hill Mason (Bill Mason); her granddaughters, Amanda Mason Salazar (Joe Salazar) and Gwen Mason; and also Rex Sappenfield. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, October 27th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Layton-Anderson Funeral Home (4210 W Palmetto St, Florence, SC 29501). A funeral service was held on Monday, October 28th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, October 28th 2024 at the Lamar Cemetery.
