He was predeceased by: his parents, James Fred Carraway and Annie Pearl Coward Carraway; his daughter Phyllis Wood; and his brothers, J. W. Carraway, Cecil Carraway and Willard Carraway.
He is survived by: his wife Madeline Powell Carraway; his daughter Pamela Blackmon (Stephen); his grandchildren, Jake, Justin Wood, Nicki Broach, Amber Harrington and Jeri Harrington; and his great grandchildren, Emerlynn, Damien and Delilah Wood.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Effingham Church of God.
