He was predeceased by: his brother William Freeman Parker, Jr.. He is survived by: his spouse Nita Arnold Parker; his children, Gilbert Edward Parker, Jr. and Fran Parker Solesbee (Jay) of Seneca; his grandchildren, Trey, Erin, Catherine, John Parker, Carson, Bettina and Bailey Solesbee; his sister-in-law Kay Parker of Florence; and his nephews, Michael Parker of Florence, Mark Parker of Florence, Matt Parker of Florence and Mitch Parker of Florence.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Bethel United Methodist Church; Trustee Fund, 245 Church St., Spartanburg, SC 29306.
