It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Geneva Surles Reaves (Florence, South Carolina), who passed away on January 24, 2019, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Edward Willie and Nellie Turner Surles; her grandson William Larry Brown, Jr.; her great grandchild Miranda Claire Weaver; her children, Judy Weaver Lane Rabon of Florence, Jean Weaver Brown of Rockingham, NC, George C. Weaver III and Jerry Weaver (Sharon); her grandchildren, Lee Lane (Tiletha), Jody Lane (Lisa), Cyndi Walters (Bryan), Kevin Brown, Cleat Weaver (Cari), Kyle Weaver, Kane Weaver, Eddie Weaver (Michelle), Traci Hewitt (Jesse), Alan Bateman (Katie) and Dawn Medford (David); and also, George Cleatus Weaver and Earl G. Reaves. She was also cherished by 22 great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.
