It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Frances Parsons Williams of Florence, South Carolina, who passed away on July 31, 2023, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ela Oliver Parsons and Sally Dennis Parsons; her husband James L. "Bub" Williams; and her siblings, John Oliver Parsons, W. L. Parsons, Albert Parsons, Betty Cox, Gladys Avant and Annie Sue Martin.
She is survived by: her daughters, Lucy Smart (Robert) of Timmonsville and Donna Flowers of Johnsonville, SC; and her brother Jimmy Parsons of Hemingway, SC.. She is also survived by eight grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
