She was predeceased by: her husband Emery; her parents, Wilba Colon and Allie Clyde Newbern; and her brothers, Harry and Larry Newbern.
She is survived by: her children, Mindy Higgs Taylor (Bill) of Florence, Missy Higgs Gore (Gene) of Conway and Brian Higgs (Joy) of Florence; her grandchildren, Brandon Iseman (Kayla) of Florence, Jordan Gore, Madison Gore of Conway, Allie Clyde Higgs and Ellison Higgs of Florence; her great grandchildren, Evan Gleason of Aynor, John Luke Iseman and Jax Iseman of Florence; and her sister Ann Radlein of Cocoa. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
