It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Evander Waitus Godbold of Florence, South Carolina, who passed away on January 5, 2023, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Godbold, Sr. and Ruth Taylor Godbold; his wife Cheryl Taylor Godbold; and his brothers, Bucky Godbold, Wilson Godbold and Jackie Godbold.
He is survived by: his children, Randy Godbold (Janet Agius) of Florence, Philip Godbold of Florence and Marian Mayo (Otis) of Florence; his grandchildren, Christina Quick, Rebecca Watts, Ashley Godbold, Joshua Mayo, Marissa Godbold, Jordan Mayo, Philip Godbold, II and Jessica Mayo; his siblings, Earl Godbold, Jr., Ann Witt, Nancy Godbold and Alice Godbold; and his pet Louie. He is also survived by 9 great-grandchildren.
