He is survived by: his parent Anna Epps Cantey; his daughters, Karen Newton (Mike) and Kathy Griffin (Allen); his grandsons, Davis Griffin (Kristi), Kaleb Griffin of Greenville and Aaron Newton of Charleston; his great grandchild Rylynn Griffin of Greenville; and his sister-in-law Betty Cantey of Matthews, NC. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, and many friends.
