She was predeceased by: her parents, Franklin Gorham and Ella Jane Mishoe Watts; her husband Edward Reed; her daughter Ella Mae McKnight Ballenger; and her siblings, Oscar Watts (Mary), Fred Watts (Maggie), Hoyt Watts (Pearline), Gene Watts (Bernice) and Elnita Vaught (Ricky).
She is survived by: her son Mike Spears (Barbara) of Darlington; her grandchildren, Whitney Wilkins (Herbie) of Hilton Head, SC and Corey Spears of Los Angeles, CA; and her great grandchildren, Isabella, Gracen, Olivia and Eden Wilkins. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
